01Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — mobile number (for OTP verification), name, profile photo, location, Aadhaar/PAN (submitted via Partner App), bank details (via Partner App), and service preferences. We also collect usage data like pages visited and interactions.
02How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to create and maintain your Pandit profile, verify your identity, display your profile in the SanatanSetu community, facilitate puja bookings with devotees, and process payments. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
03Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Sensitive documents (Aadhaar, PAN, bank details) are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorised SanatanSetu team members only. We use Firebase Authentication for secure phone verification.
04Your Mobile Number
Your mobile number is never displayed publicly. It is used only for OTP verification and internal platform communications. Devotees connect with you through the platform only — your contact details remain private at all times.
05Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for session management. We may use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate platform usage patterns. You can opt out of analytics by disabling JavaScript (though this will affect functionality).
06Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting our support team. Upon deletion, your public profile is removed within 7 days. Some records may be retained for legal compliance for up to 3 years.
07Third-Party Services
We use Razorpay for payment processing, Firebase for authentication and analytics, Google Maps for location services, and AWS S3 for media storage. Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for these services to function.
